About the guide

Wanna Go Korea is a practical guide to finding places and experiences across Korea.

Make the next travel decision easier

In a new city, search results can be overwhelming and information can conflict. Wanna Go Korea helps you narrow down a region, check the essentials and official guidance for a place, then read experiences from people who have been there.

Our aim is to be a useful starting point for first-time visitors to Korea and a way for returning travellers to discover a different neighbourhood, season or reason to go.

What it does

  • Browse attractions, cultural venues, festivals, stays, campsites and seasonal travel ideas by region.
  • See a place's essentials together with its official website and map links, so you can check the latest details before visiting.
  • Read and share first-hand traveller reviews and comments.

How to use the guide

  1. 1. Choose a region. Start with Seoul, Busan or Jeju — or explore a smaller city or province.
  2. 2. Compare places. Browse attractions, cultural spaces, festivals, stays and campsites that match your interests, then check the location and essentials.
  3. 3. Do a final check before you go. Use the official website, map, weather and traveller reviews to decide whether it works for your actual itinerary.

What you can find today

  • Browse attractions, cultural venues, festivals and stays across Korea by region and category.
  • On a place page, find the address, official website, map, visiting information, nearby places and official photos.
  • Regional weather and campsite information sit alongside traveller reviews and comments.

Principles

  • Built from official open data. Place basics and photos come from open data published by public organisations such as the Korea Tourism Organization. We name the source on our data and photo sources page.
  • Check the official page for the latest details. Opening hours, closures, prices and entry rules can change, so confirm them with the venue before you go.
  • Reviews are traveller experiences. We may remove or hide posts containing ads, abuse, personal information or copyright infringement.
  • We do not fill gaps by guessing. We do not make up plausible-looking details when they are missing from a source or cannot be verified.
